When you press the eject button, the face slides down to allow you to insert or remove a CD. For best visibility, you can utilize the 3-stage tilt function to angle the faceplate at 15°, 25°, or 35°. When the security function is activated, an alarm will sound and a message will appear to remind you to remove the faceplate. After the faceplate is removed, a flashing red LED warns potential thieves. A hard plastic face case is supplied for carrying your detached faceplate.
High Definition 3D Dot Matrix Display: The receiver's faceplate features a High Definition 3D Dot Matrix display with 3 motion patterns, 1 spectrum analyzer, and 10 still pattern presets to choose from.
Customizable Display: In addition to the built-in images, you can customize the display by downloading additional images from a special Panasonic website or use your own digital images processed with Image Studio software. New images are burned to a CD-R or CD-RW and uploaded to the head unit.
Day & Night Design: The CQ-C7403U has Panasonic's popular Day & Night Design. During the day, the faceplate has a sleek, black design. At night, a series of blue LEDs around the frame of the nosepiece and around the circumference of the two main buttons gives off a blue glow.
